About Me

My name is Monica Schultz. I am a resident in Calgary and a member of Foothills Lutheran Church in Calgary. I previously was a Director of Parish Services for over 15 years. After finishing high school, I went to Mount Royal College in Calgary and received my Early Childhood Education Diploma. I then attended Concordia University in Edmonton and received my Bachelor Of Arts (Major in Religion – minor in Parish Services).

I was blessed to be a Director of Parish Services and served my Internship at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Regina. My first call was to Zion Lutheran Church in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. I was then called to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Stony Plain, Alberta. During my time at St. Matthew, I started my studies at Concordia University in Lincoln, Nebraska, where I received my Master's in Family Life Ministry.

I moved back to Calgary to be closer to my parents. I was an office administrator for 3 years at a church. I like to be able to share my gifts with LCC congregations in Canada when it comes to administration.

When not being involved in ministry I love to be able to spend time with family, as well as friends. I also have been able to share my gifts in other ways in using my voice to praise the Lord. Check out my YouTube channel (Monica A. Schultz) for some hymns.

I know there is such a need for administrators in our churches. Many Pastors are doing more than two callings – one of the call of the Pastor and one as the administrator. For some this is easier than others, and I would like to take the load off of Pastors to be able to continue to due the Pastor call. I truly hope that you take the time to chat with me to see how I can help you in your ministry.
